Stop-go jury visits shooting sceneMARK TAYLOR FAIRFAX NZ Murder accused Quinton Winders, centre, with his defence team and guards at the scene where stop-go worker George Taiaroa was shot in Atiamuri. The jury considering the murder of George Tairoa have visited the scene where the roadworker was gunned down. Three forestry workers also saw a Jeep Cherokee but had differing opinions on whether the driver was Maori or Pakeha. The prosecution contends Winders shot Tairoa after becoming enraged over a minor traffic accident at the works he was controlling. Winders' defence counsel contends he had no motive for the killing and it was have been a case of mistaken identity.
