Kiminini MP Chris Wamalwa has said attempts to malign Deputy President William Ruto with cheap political propaganda will fail miserably. The MP on Sunday denounced those undermining the Deputy President, saying the remarks by President Uhuru Kenyatta linking his principal assistant to plotting impeachment were imaginary. He said all of Western Kenya stands to benefit if Ruto clinches the presidency, compared with his rival, ODM leader Raila Odinga. "Western Kenya hasn’t benefited from President Kenyatta’s development during his tenure as head of state," Wamalwa said. One of the friends is Deputy President William Ruto," he said.
