VARANASI: Army chief General Bipin Rawat said on Friday that the incidence of stone-pelting in Jammu & Kashmir had come down "by a considerable extent". "Our soldiers and other security forces, like the CRPF , the BSF and the civil police, are working in coordination to put a check on stone-pelting. It is not correct to say that stone-pelting is emerging again in J&K. In fact, there is a significant reduction in stonepelting and we are getting success," Gen Rawat told reporters here on Friday. The government is taking its own stand and other agencies like intelligence and the security forces are working in a coherent manner.
