KUALA LUMPUR (Jan 11): Stocks on Bursa Malaysia are expected to trend upward today and the FBM KLCI test higher with support at 1,665. “In the broader market, gainers outnumbered losers with 414 stocks ending higher and 368 stocks finishing lower. The research house said market support remains at 1,665. “As such, the FBM KLCI would likely trade above the 1,673.57 level on Jan 11,” said AllianceDBS Research. Based on corporate announcements and news flow yesterday, companies that may be in focus today could include: Omesti Bhd, Tasco Bhd, IFCA MSC Bhd, Muhibbah Engineering (M) Bhd, Paramount Corp Bhd, Versatile Creative Bhd, Malaysia Airports Holdings Bhd, Telekom Malaysia Bhd and Pasukhas Group Bhd.
