Among Indian companies, select stocks in the automobile, IT and steel sectors may be the most impacted. "If Brexit happens, it can lead to volatility in the global markets as it is something that the market has not factored in," said Mahesh Patil, co-chief investment officer at Birla Sun Life Mutual Fund. But for some sectors and their constituents, a vote in favour of leaving the EU could spell more trouble as their fortunes are linked more closely with the region.
