Jamie Larsen will remember the final corner of the North Island Sprintcar Title in Palmerston North when he retires. Larsen began the 30-lap final on the outside of the second row and with American star Jonathan Allard blasting out to a big lead. It took 12 laps for Larsen to get past Michael Pickens and Stephen Taylor before setting out after Allard. Over the final eight laps it was a tight battle, as Larsen tried all he could to find a way past Allard.
