Share:ISLAMABAD - The KSE 100-index of the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) witnessed bullish trend on Monday, gaining 72.17 points, with a positive change of 0.15 per cent, closing at 47,270.46 points against 47,198.29 points on the last working day. A total of 395,836,586 shares were traded during the day compared to the trade of 427,445,421 shares the previous day whereas the price of shares stood at Rs16.189 billion against Rs18.175 billion the previous day. As many as 519 companies’ transacted shares in the stock market, 209 of them recorded gain and 290 sustained losses whereas the share price of 20 companies remained unchanged. The three top trading companies were Byco Petroleum with a volume of 44,967,500 shares and price per share of Rs9.78, Service Fab(R ) with a volume of 42,152,500 and price per share of Rs2.78 and TPL Properties with volume of 41,074,500 and price per share of Rs58.46. Colgate PalmXDXB witnessed a maximum increase of Rs106.31 per share, closing at Rs 2499.
