The seminar titled “Corporate Good Governance and Compliance” will be held on March 10 at Inani in Cox’s Bazar. In his address, the minister said the issue of corporate good governance and compliance is very important for the development of capital markets and protection of investors’ interest. The DBA emphasises that brokers abide by the rules and regulations related to good governance and compliance. The issue of corporate good governance and compliance came under the spotlight following the share market debacle in 2010. It was noticed during the market collapse that there was a breach of compliance issues and lack of good governance.
