Meanwhile, South Korean stocks saw a brief, and modest, selloff after North Korea launched another ballistic missile. The morning’s standout was Australia, where equities rebounded on the back of buoyant financial, materials and energy stocks. “The main driver was ISM yesterday [and] stocks have been moving higher,” said Tareck Horchani, head of Asia Pacific sales trading at Saxo Capital Markets.
