Stock Market Live: BSE Sensex, NSE Nifty 50 have recovered from day's lows (File Image)Share Market Today Live: Indian equity benchmark indices BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty staged a recovery in afternoon trade after tanking as much as 8 per cent as trends suggest weaker majority for BJP-led NDA. Sensex closed 4,389.73 points, or 5.74 per cent lower at 72,079.05 while Nifty settled 1,379.40 points, or 5.93 per cent lower at 21,884.50. GIFT Nifty, an early indicator for Sensex and Nifty, traded at a low of as much as 1,400 points. As per trends at the time of closing bell, India Today, NDA is leading with 290 seats with INDIA alliance bagging 234 seats. As per News 18, NDA is ahead in 295 seats with INDIA alliance trailing at 231 seats.
