In the CD, Sao purportedly recorded conversations between him and a man he claimed was ADG (Special Branch) Anurag Gupta. But, in the face of support for Kumar, Naqvi said the member could hand the CD over and the government would examine it. Naqvi reminded members there were similar allegations of rigging during Rajya Sabha polls in Karnataka, a Congress-ruled state. Last week, an all-Opposition party delegation from Jharkhand had met chief election commissioner Nasim Zaidi and submitted him the CD too. Kumar left the House after the Chair moved on to another subject but returned sometime later with the CD.
