Steven Gerrard has extended his Rangers contractSteven Gerrard has signed a two-year contract extension that sees him extend his stay at Rangers until 2024. Sky Sports News revealed earlier this week that the 39-year-old had agreed new terms after swift negotiations with new Rangers sporting director Ross Wilson and managing director Stewart Robertson. The former Liverpool and England captain Gerrard has enjoyed a productive spell in Scotland since arriving at Ibrox in the summer of 2018. Gerrard told Rangers' website: "I'm delighted to be extending my stay at this fantastic football club. He is relentless in his desire to bring success to our club and we are delighted that he has signed this new contract, which shows his commitment to Rangers."
