Shetu bore the pain a whole dayA stepmother and a teen stepbrother have been arrested in Madaripur for burning a 10 year old girl with a hot cooking spatula (khunti). The incident happened in Panthopara village of Rajoir upazila when Shetu's father, Riyaj Shikdar, left home for work on March 24. My father married my stepmother, Sabina Begum, while my mother was alive . Encouraged by my step grandmother, my step mother and brother burned me with the hot metal spatula. Sub-Inspector(SI) of Rajoir Police Station, Khan Md Zobair, said : " After receiving the news I rushed to the incident scene, admitted the girl to Rajoir Hospital, and then arrested stepbrother Sabbir and stepmother Sabina."
