Stephen Strasburg thinks about it, that awkward question in the back of everyone’s minds since he returned from the disabled list. “It’s not what I’m accustomed to,” Strasburg said after Saturday’s 12-2 win over the Colorado Rockies, a victory that clinched a winning season for the Nationals, whatever that’s worth. Those playoff implications mean little else to the Nationals, for whom Strasburg is a constant and necessary focus. But Strasburg hasn’t been the same since the shoulder injury that landed him on the disabled list this season. Six more starts from Strasburg – particularly the pre-injury Strasburg – would have given the Nationals a better chance.
