The sports scientist Stephen Dank has been discharged from hospital after he was wounded in what appears to be a drive-by shooting. The Royal Melbourne hospital confirmed Dank was no longer a patient after he was admitted in a stable condition with a head graze. He has recently admitted giving AFL star Nathan Bock a banned peptide. The NRL said in 2014 Dank would not be allowed any further involvement in the game, but he has denied any wrong-doing in his work with either NRL or AFL players. Nine Network had earlier tweeted a photo of Dank being helped into an ambulance after the shots were fired.
