However, if you want to step down, come out honorably and make it clear that, you can’t compete in the race, don’t blame somebody else. His comments were in reactions to claims that Chairman Wontumi’s contender Mr. Asare Bediako had been persuaded by President Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo – Addo not to contest the election. Mr. Asare Bediako a former Chairman of the party has made plain his intention to contest in the race which has since generated a heated argument between his faction and that of Chairman Wontumi. Mr. Agyenim in his interview strongly affirmed that Mr. Bernard Antwi Boasiako well known as the Ashanti Governor will retain his seat as the Regional Chairman while he will also win the Organizer position.
