Putting the game in prime-time Sunday could bring an extra 10-million or so viewers, an industry source told the network. Conditions were fine, with a wintry mix expected later … during the game. Given that NBC’s “Sunday Night Football” is a TV ratings juggernaut, it’s a wonder the NFL hasn’t made this move sooner, no matter which network happens to carry the game.
