Gina Crampton, Jane Watson and Te Paea Selby-Rickit all made impressive debuts this year, joining Shannon Francois in the squad. Coach Janine Southby was happy with the strides the team had made this year. “We have introduced a number of new players to the Silver Ferns environment over the last 12 months – five players made their Silver Ferns debut in 2016 which is an indication of the depth we are building in all areas of the court,” Southby said.
