more-inThe Joint Committee on Safety, Health & Environment in the Steel Industry (JCSSI) organised its 71st meeting at Management Development Centre of VSP on Thursday. The meeting, which will also continue on Friday, is being held under the aegis of SAIL Safety Organisation, Ranchi. The representatives of member organisations of JCSSI across the country participated. Das stressed that the member organisations should always adopt proactive approach in terms of having health safety and environment strategies in place. INTUC president and JCSSI vice-chairman G. Sanjeeva Reddy underlined the need to accord more importance and priority to the safety and health of the employees including contract workers.
