When do you have time to yourself and a diversion that will take you into a different world? You don’t have to be an expert at art appreciation to lose yourself in the art work of the masters such as Cezanne, Matisse, Manet and Degas. If your mind drifts to your to-do list, set it aside for a day and enjoy yourself opening up your creativity. Maybe they’ll be interested in what you learned, maybe not, but they’ll remember and you’ll remember that you, too, have a life outside the home. Show them images online of what you’ve seen and maybe one Saturday they’ll go with you and expand their visions, too.
