Met Éireann has issued a status yellow wind warning for counties on the west coast of Ireland. The warning will bring windy conditions "with strong and gusty southwest winds" to Kerry, Clare, Donegal, Galway, Leitrim, Mayo, and Sligo. As a result, Saturday will start very cold with frost, ice and fog slow to clear, Met Éireann says. It adds: "Cloud will build from the west through the afternoon with outbreaks of rain and drizzle following tomorrow evening. Sunday will be windy with widespread outbreaks of rain continuing, turning heavy in places and a potential for hail.
