The government will start building the Sh50 billion national referral hospital in Eldoret town within six months. Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital CEO Wilson Aruasa says contractors will soon move to the project site. He spoke when the hospital signed a corporation agreement with Elgeyo Marakwet county. Aruasa says they are also partnering with counties in the North Rift to improve more facilities at the hospital. “Once we have a referral hospital with a 2,000-bed capacity, it means people from other countries coming for various engagements with the hospital will also want to sample the local tourism industry,” Aruasa said.
