Kozhikode District Collector N. Prasanth presenting the trophy for the best youth club in the district to office-bearers of Sincere Arts and Sports Club at a youth summit organised by the Nehru Yuva Kendra at the collectorate on Friday. District Collector N. Prasanth, who opened the meet organised as part of the National Youth Week observance, said the State was in need of a committed youth force to achieve many of its development goals for the marginalised sections and to address the rising concerns over antisocial activities. NYK’s district coordinator M. Anil Kumar said youths were responding positively to various community-oriented programmes initiated by the organisation. NYK’s best youth club award was presented at the function. Office-bearers of Sincere Arts and Sports Club from Koduvally accepted the award from the District Collector.
