Kenyans are going through a very tough economic period only comparable to 2002 when the Narc Government took over power from the then ruling party Kanu. To many economic pundits, this was the straw that broke the back of the independence party. The cost of living was very high, pushing prices of basic commodities through the roof while joblessness had hit the 50 per cent mark.
