Dhaka Metropolitan Police's Traffic Department slapped the fines during a drive against wrong-side driving at Hare Road in only one and a half hours from 4:30pm on Sunday, a police officer said. "We've prosecuted them," DMP Additional Deputy Commissioner (Traffic) Ashraf Hossain told bdnews24.com. DMP Deputy Commissioner (Traffic North) Rifat Rahman Shamim was present during the drive. DMP Commissioner Asaduzzaman Mia had also warned against the breach of traffic laws, especially wrong-side driving.
