more-inThe State government is keen on addressing the problems being faced by the kidney patients in the Uddanam region in Srikakulam district and finding a permanent solution, Home Minister N. Chinarajappa has said. “The residents of the region have been grappling with the issue for over 100 years. “Some people are speaking as if the problem has cropped up overnight and there is no action from the government. A lab has been set up in the area and dialysis service is being offered to patients,” he said. Referring to road connectivity in the rural pockets, the Home Minister said efforts were on to lay link roads to all the villages.
