Siaya senator James Orengo has blamed the State for extrajudicial killings that have have happened in the country. Orengo said the continued cases of extrajudicial killings were a show that the Jubilee government has failed in its mandate to protect the lives of Kenyans. We cannot allow assassinations, extrajudicial killings and genocide be the hallmarks of a democratic state founded on justice and the rule of law," the Senator said. "State security is the pseudonym, extrajudicial killing is often a tool of the felonious state," he said. "The state in Kenya has employed mafia style killings in the past.
