A government employee has accused police officers from the Dog Section in Mombasa of harassing her and tearing her blouse when she was following up a traffic offence involving her tuk tuk. Josephine Ndinda, who works with the Health ministry, said she had gone to the station after her tuk tuk driver was arrested at Lights at around 7am on Tuesday. The police radioed their colleagues at the Nyali Bridge roadblock to stop the tuk tuk she had boarded. Ndinda unsuccessfully vied for Mombasa Woman Representative on the Jubilee ticket in the 2017 General Election. In this era, we cannot be experiencing such uncouth behaviour from officers,” Moraa, who is the chair of the Mombasa county assembly women caucus, said.
