State House has come out to strongly defend President Uhuru Kenyatta following his recent vitriol against the Judiciary and more so the Supreme Court after it annulled his win. “Like other public institutions, the Judiciary is subject to national values, including accountability and transparency within a democratic context. The communication by State House said the election petitions are legal processes undertaken within the context of intense political contest thus any decision made by the Judiciary is subject of robust political discussion. “The recent decision by the Supreme Court is no exception. State House also accused the Judiciary of engaging in politics which is against the Constitution.
