UPDATE: Friday March 26, The State House deleted posts from social media platforms where the President had sent a message of condolence to the family of a former State House Comptroller. The deceased was a powerful and long-serving State House Comptroller during former President Daniel Arap's Moi's reign. While sending his condolence message late, the President said the MP passed on on Thursday, March 25. Kenyatta went on to say that the late MP was a consummate debater whose contributions enriched Kenyan’s legislation agenda and parliamentary oversight. In the same statement released by State House, the President mourned veteran journalist, Lorna Irungu who died on Monday, March 22.
