FRISCO — When the NHL’s free agency period opens on Wednesday at 11 a.m., the Stars will have the resources to do something. Without Klingberg, the Stars are left with just one NHL-caliber right-handed defenseman in their organization: Jani Hakanpää. The right-handed options in the free agent market are limited. Technically, the Stars and Klingberg could come back together if the market does not materialize for his services. Glendening still has one more season left at $1.5 million while Raffl is a free agent again.
