The company is the current main broadcast partner of the Ghana Football Association and it has the mandate to air football matches in the various competitions organised by the GFA. StarTimes signed a 10-year deal worth USD 17.9 million with the FA in November 2016 and as part of its obligations, it was to put up 10 training pitches across the country. The said meeting touched on enhancing the quality of the Ghana Premier League in terms of the broadcast. There was confirmation of the arrival of an OB van in Ghana to help with the broadcast of the local game and this latest development would further strengthen the relationship between the GFA and StarTimes.
