A Facebook message read: ''StarTimes has acquired the TV rights to broadcast the Ghana Premier League. This is shock u-turn by the Ghana Football Association who last month terminated an existing ten-year contract signed under the Kwesi Nyantakyi regime. At the weekend, FA president Kurt Okraku disclosed on Accra-based Joy FM there will be an improvement in all aspects of the new TV deal. ''We don't want a situation where some league venues are never visited by our TV right holder as we experienced in the time past,'' he said.
