Former doctor Venod Skantha is accused of killing 16-year-old Amber-Rose Rush last year. A star witness in a Dunedin doctor's murder trial faces his own allegations of sexual misconduct with a girl, it has emerged. The witness told Crown prosecutor Robin Bates he lied to police when arrested on a charge of rape because his religious mother was there.
