The Philippine National Police unit that goes after rogues in uniform has over 1,400 policemen, including a star-rank officer, in its target list. Out of that number, 1,475 are “subject to validation and monitoring,” Malayo said. That was in the early months of our operation and there has not been additional information up to this time. The majority of policemen was into the protection racket, robbery/extortion, illegal drug trade and gambling, he said.
