The performance, to be held from 3pm Sunday 12 March at Dunedin Town Hall, promises ‘‘a dazzling sound journey through the world of Romantic organ music’’. Based in Wiesbaden, Germany, Hielscher is organist of the Marktkirche, and given more than 3500 recitals around the world over the years. ‘‘Norma’’, the Dunedin Town Hall organ, is one of his favourite instruments.
