'Rogue One' Box Office: 'Star Wars' Snags Boffo $29M ThursdayNow we know that the title for the next Star Wars film will be The Last Jedi. Of note, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story yesterday became the 28th movie in history to cross the $1 billion mark. And since no Pixar original has ever topped $1 billion globally (Inside Out made $854 million in June of 2015), that leaves just Star Wars: The Last Jedi. But if membership itself is no longer terribly exclusive, then perhaps the new measuring stick should be entrants that aren’t from Walt Disney. Because after this year, thanks to Star Wars: The Last Jedi among others, there is a good chance that the Mouse House will have half of the occupants of this once-exclusive clubhouse.
