Thank you, Jordan Himelfarb, for your contemplative, poignant and timely captions that aptly complemented each image. And thank you, Toronto Star, for your overall vision these last many months; for making space in your daily newspaper for a variety of pandemic narratives. Your photo/caption series, as well as regular and feature columnists, editorial cartoonists, the writers’ series of reflections on creativity, and more brought hope and inspiration into each day, shed some light, elicited more than a few chuckles, educated me and made me think.
