A committee considering standards for methamphetamine testing had backed new guidelines giving more leeway for houses where "P" has been smoked but not manufactured. The committee, which represents multiple stakeholders, was set up to establish a standard for meth testing. CHRISTEL YARDLEY/FAIRFAX NZ A draft standard for meth testing will be released soon. It follows criticism that the flourishing meth testing industry is inconsistent, and that landlords are potentially spending thousands of dollars more than they need to on remediating their properties.
