Up against a Saskatchewan Roughriders squad that had left almost all of its veterans at home, the Stamps strolled to a wildly lopsided 37-1 victory. Whether they won or lost really wasn’t the point, though, this was pre-season and evaluating performances matters a whole lot more than the scoreline. By this point in the game, the Riders were generating little-to-no offence. Stamps linebacker Anthony Gore, by the way, would finish the game with a pick-six that made the already out-of-hand scoreline look even worse for the Riders. They looked prepared and out-executed the Riders all night.
