Juthaporn Oun-on, 37, disappeared on July 3 while allegedly collecting debt from an Army officer at Ubon Ratchathani’s Warin Chamrap district military camp. Her Toyota Vios was found on August 8 at an Ubon garage after it had been resold three times. Meanwhile, the latest of eight attempts by Juthaporn's relatives and villagers to search for her body in the forestlands along the Si Sa Ket border area did not yield any result, said Juthaporn’s uncle and village headman Sanongsak Intharanon. They would continue to search for her body, as it would be a key evidence to prosecute her killer, he said.
