more-inNearly three weeks after jewellery worth ₹55 lakh was stolen from a shop in Nalasopara, three persons, including an employee, were arrested by the Nalasopara (East) Police on Saturday. According to the complaint, Rajput had gone home for lunch leaving his employee Mangusingh Rajput in charge of the shop. Even as Rajput was working, one person, under the pretext of collecting a jewellery order entered the shop. When Roopsingh Rajput came back, he found that jewellery worth ₹55 lakh and ₹28,000 in cash had been looted. The police have also recovered ornaments worth ₹21 lakh.
