Employees of the Central Bank of Libya held a protest in front of the bank in the capital Tripoli to denounce the kidnapping of their colleague Ahmed Al-Farjani and head of the Nuran Bank Abdul-Aziz Al-Burki by an unknown armed group. The protesters stressed their rejection of all means of pressure against the banking sector and its employees, demanding the competent authorities to assume their responsibilities to ensure the safe release of their colleagues as soon as possible. Several commercial banks in Libya organized a protest in solidarity with the persons abducted.
