Corrections staff at Manitoba's Stony Mountain Institution seized more than $400,000 worth of contraband at the prison Monday morning. The package contained two cell phones and chargers, five pre-paid SIM cards, 150 tablets of oral steroids and 10 packages of rolling papers that contained 100 papers each. There were also 1.6 grams of marijuana, three grams of hashish, 56 grams of THC concentrate, 134.6 grams of shatter — a glasslike cannabis derivative — and 984 grams of tobacco. In all, the contraband has an estimated total value of $420,368. Any criminal charges that may be laid following an investigation will be the responsibility of the RCMP, the CSC spokesperson said.
