St Brigid's appoint Mulligan as new senior manager

St Brigid's appoint Mulligan as new senior managerSt Brigid's GAA has appointed Damien Mulligan as the new manager of the club’s senior football team. A native of Crossmolina, Mulligan was part of Kevin McStay's management team when the former St Brigid's and Roscommon manager was in charge of Mayo. Mulligan takes over as St Brigid's manager from the highly respected Anthony Cunningham, who stepped down shortly after the Kiltoom side's extra-time defeat to Dingle in last month's thrilling All-Ireland senior club football final. Having won their sixth Connacht senior title towards the end of last year, St Brigid's will be regarded as strong favourites to win another Roscommon crown in 2026. “St Brigid's GAA Club are delighted to announce that Damien Mulligan will be taking up the role of our senior men's manager for the year ahead,” said St Brigid's in a statement last night (Thursday).
