First the CoA, which appears to have erred by seeking critical clarifications from the Supreme Court ahead of the SGM. The Supreme Court would deal with them on Monday afternoon. Yet, after Anurag Thakur's removal as the Board president by the Supreme Court, there's no leader as such and Srinivasan has spent the past three months trying to rebuild his support base. Apparently, somebody who has been an office-bearer, has been going around saying: "Only Srini can save us... We have to rally behind him." Srinivasan has been lobbying hard and, towards that end, met a top Union minister who could influence some votes in the Board.
