Although it has been over four months since the Uri attacks took place, films featuring Pakistani actors continue to suffer. After Karan Johar's Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, it was Shah Rukh Khan's Raees which faced trouble. In fact, Shah Rukh Khan even paid a visit to Maharashtra Navnirman Sena chief Raj Thackeray and pacified him that Mahira Khan would not be coming to India to promote Raees. The film features Pakistani actors Sajal Ali, who plays Sridevi's daughter in the film, and Adnan Siddiqui, who plays her husband. Reportedly, the film's woes are over, as the two actors have been granted visas and will return to the country to complete the film.
