The Baahubali films took the box office by storm, and managed to wow critics and audiences alike. It is widely known that Sridevi was approached to be a part of the blockbuster franchise, but she turned the role down, reportedly due to remuneration issues. However, Sridevi did not mention the reason behind her rejecting the role. Directed by Ravi Udyawar, the film also stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Akshaye Khanna, Adnan Siddiqui and Sajal Ali in pivotal roles.
