NewsSriLankan Catering Ltd, part of SriLankan Airlines, has recorded a 26 per cent year-on-year growth in operating profit for the financial year ended March 31, at Rs. Its unaudited financial statements, released to the media on Monday, the company said operating profit ratio which stood at 42 per cent in the last year improved to 44 per cent during 2017/18. It has also reported a post-tax net profit of Rs. Ranjit Fernando, Chairman of SriLankan Catering who is also the Chairman of SriLankan Airlines, said: "The company has proven itself to be a perfect example of consistency and has crossed the Rs. 2 billion mark in profits every year, during the last five years.
