Sri Lanka’s actress Dinara Punchihewa has earned a prestigious spot on Forbes magazine’s “30 Under 30 Asia” list in the entertainment and sports category. Forbes highlighted Punchihewa's remarkable journey in the entertainment industry, noting that the 29-year-old actress burst onto the Sri Lankan cinema scene in 2018. This early success caught the eye of renowned Sri Lankan filmmaker Prasanna Vithanage, who cast her in Gaadi – Children of the Sun (2019). A post in the Ladies' College OGA facebook page states:From a young age, Dinara knew she wanted to be an actress. Dinara graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (Honors) in Theatre and Drama, from Queen Mary University of London in 2016.
